The WCAA has three new members: The Association of Ethnologists and Social Anthropologists of Mexico, the Association of Social Anthropologists of Aotearoa/New Zealand, and the Italian Institute of Anthropology
In July 2006, the WCAA approved membership of the following three associations by the vote of the presidents of its member associations:
Mexico - Colegio de Etnólogos y Antropólogos Sociales AC (The Association of Ethnologists and Social Anthropologists) (CEAS)
New Zealand - The Association of Social Anthropologists of Aotearoa/New Zealand (ASAA/NZ)
Italy - Istituto Italiano di Antropologia (The Italian Institute of Anthropology) (ISItA)
The WCAA now has nineteen members. We extend our warmest greetings to the new members, and we look forward to future collaboration for the development of anthropology.
