The Association relies mainly upon membership fees.

The FMSH (Fondation Maison des Sciences de l'Homme) generously provides us with temporary office space and contributes to some of our running costs.

The CNL (Centre National des Lettres) has lent its support since 1996.

The IRD has provided us with financial assistance for several years.

In respect of its publications, the AFA sometimes receives grants from organizations concerned with the themes dealt with in particular issues.
